‘Nocera + Reno: A Print Show’

Reno+Nocera

Come out in July to support OAL member artists Nicholas Nocera and Clinton Reno by attending their upcoming Member Curated Exhibition ‘Nocera + Clinton: A Print Show’ curated by Robert Amos at Rivet Gallery. While OAL is still searching for its permanent home, Laura Rivet of Rivet Gallery was generous enough to offer a home for Nocera and Reno’s print show. The Ohio Art League would like to thank Laura Rivet and the Rivet Gallery for hosting this exhibit and for all their support!

Opening Reception: Saturday July 5th @ 7:00 pm

Rivet Gallery (1200 N. High Street Columbus OH 43201)

A Little about the artists:

From prizefighting lions to blues-strumming blue jays, Clinton Reno’s highly textured and whimsical illustrations have come to life on thousands of hand-pulled, silk-screened pieces. The Columbus, Ohio resident has been tabbed as a go-to illustrator for bands like My Morning Jacket and the Avett Brothers.

Nicholas Nocera’s hand-drawn illustrations are a combination of nostalgia and originality. They’re a mix tape full of brand new music. His work has appeared at music venues and on t-shirts seen all around Columbus, and throughout the country. Whether it’s illustrations of over 300 musicians for the book “Rock Torch” or many forms of Ohio pride, Nicholas Nocera’s images feature a sense of the past and a look to the future.
