The Ohio Art League is proud to partner with the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities in a project working with young children in their programs with and without developmental disabilities. In this project four artists and four teachers will collaborate on projects that focus on four of the senses.
Artists: Christine Miller, Catherine Bell Smith, Ryan Agnew, and Daric Gill will spend at least 8 hours with the children for inspiration to create work with the children and a supplementary piece of work of their own.
Teachers: Darren Thompson, Therese Brady, Danielle Norman, and Kathy Bernon will help guide the artists in working with the children. The works of art will concentrate on the senses of touch, hearing, sight, and movement. The presentation of the finished artwork will be on display in the OAL Gallery during the month of April.
