Space is limited to 14 participants for Darla Bostick’s 8th Annual Ghost Ranch Workshop/Retreat 2015 in Abiquiu, New Mexico. From October 4 – 10, artists are invited to bring materials they already love working with, or maybe some for a technique in unchartered territory.

The Workshop includes digital photography, watercolors/acrylics, pencil, text incorporation, mixed media work with an opportunity for plain air painting and a floor-to-ceiling vista view activity room. Lodging and meals are included in the 7 day/6 night fee of $495/ participant.

Visit the Georgia O’Keefe studio and home on a tour of the landscape where participants can see the magnificent scenery from where the artist painted.

Since 1910, Ohio Art League and it’s annual juried shows have been the backbone of the organization’s artistic programming, showcasing contemporary work by Ohio artists.

Visual artists, 18 years of age or older who live in the state of Ohio, are eligible for entry in the Ohio Art League’s Spring Juried Exhibition. Awards will be determined by juror selection after installation of artwork. Awards will be announced at the reception.

Exhibition runs: September 8 – October 15, 2015

**Visual artists, 18 years of age or older who live in the state of Ohio and are enrolled as a Full Time student in undergraduate or graduate program, are eligible for entry in the Ohio Art League’s Student Juried Exhibition. This year, the Student Juried Exhibition will take place at the Fisher Gallery of Otterbein University from August 24 through October 2.

Jim Bowling, sculptor, Associate Professor at Otterbein, and Ohio Designer Craftsman board member, is our Juror of Esteem for this year’s Student Juried Exhibition!

Artists from all corners of the world, 18 years of age and up, are invited to enter their works for the 2015 Art Kudos International Juried Exhibition. All works submitted must be original in design and concept. Selected finalists will appear in a year-long online exhibition at www.artKudos.com .
Deadline: All images and entry fees must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by June 30, 2015. Entries may be submitted online or physically. See below for details.
 
Drawings, paintings, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, installations, wood, glass, ceramics, fiber art and mixed media are eligible. Video/film and wearable art (jewelry or clothing) are NOT eligible for consideration. Publishers, galleries, agents, and collectors may not submit artwork on behalf of artists.
A non-refundable entry fee of $35 allows artists to submit up to three images.
Awards: Exemplary works will be displayed in a year-long online exhibition at http://www.artkudos.com/. Cash awards totaling $4,500 will be distributed as follows: Best of Show – $1,200; Second Place – $1,000; Third Place – $750; Founder’s Award of Distinction – $500; (3) Merit Awards – $250 each; (3) Honorable Mentions – $100 each.
