Andrew McCauley at ROY G BIV this Saturday!

Screen Shot 2014-10-29 at 2.26.01 PM

Join member artist Andrew McCauley at ROY G BIV Gallery from Nov. 1 through Nov. 29!

“His works incorporate the human figure into a blended, narrative landscape that depicts memory loss. McCauley’s works depict various diseases have on humans minds and bodies.

The artist’s characters are caught in the experience of nervous and circulatory system failure and, ultimately, a total loss of mobility. Each is surrounded by the deconstruction and fractioning of archetypal memories. The playful, intentionally unsophisticated characters act as a balance to lighten the heavy connotation of their decline.”

Don’t miss the Opening Reception during Gallery Hop in Columbus on Saturday Nov. 1 from 7 -10pm.

The artists will participate in an Artist Talk on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the ROY Gallery at 2:30 pm.
