Big things are happening behind the doors of the 78th Street Studios art complex in Cleveland, Ohio this week. Be one of the first to discover the methodologies within the minds of six innovative artists encompassed in Cleveland West Art League’s Six in Studio 2014 exhibit which takes off March 21, 2014.
During the Introduction and Opening Reception this Friday from 6-10 p.m., artists will begin to set up their installations and visitors are welcome to a “meet-and-greet” with this year’s Six in Studio curator, Marilyn Ladd-Simmons. Artists will spend a month in the gallery maintaining and preparing their artwork and installations for the Reveal and Closing Reception held April 18th from 6-10 p.m. Thus, gallery goers will witness the painstaking yet rewarding process of gallery installation before the final product is displayed mid-April.
You know what they say, it’s not the destination that changes us, but the journey.
Join Jeff Chiplis, Mona Gazala, Natalie Grieshammer, Dana Lynn Harper, Brandon Juhasz, and Christopher Kulcsar, this year’s Six in Studio featured artists at 78th Street Studios in Cleveland this month and embark on the voyage of preparation and detail from start to finish.
