If you haven’t stopped out to MadLab in Downtown Columbus, you’re missing all kinds of greatness. First, the impromptu theatre has a show going on called “Memory Fragments” by Sam Wallin. In “Memory Fragments,” Detective Cloud navigates this all-too-plausible vision of the future in which our memories are depicted in three dimensions, as he examines the shattered and decaying memories of a young man brutally murdered. Creepy and brilliant: the perfect Halloween combo.

Alongside the show, Ohio Art League member artist Austin Burnside is exhibiting his Loom Series Blue Molly in the MadLab Gallery. The show and exhibition are going on through Saturday, November 1.

Austin stated, “My motivations for these works deals with labor and ingenuity. I want these pieces to talk about the livelihood for blue-collar men and women by using their trades to describe their personality and who they are beyond face value. I engineer these sculptures and paintings to become fun, intriguing, or unique to describe more of a complex situation.”
